pelican reports

Has anyone been out on Pelican since opener?  Anybody catching anything?

I haven't been out myself but I have talked to a few people that have boated a few nice fish this year on Pelican.  Kid that works at the CL Holiday said he caught a 29" on opening morning.  My father in-law struck out once on Pelican and then this past week caught a nice 29" also.  So I haven't heard numbers but I guess the big fish must be biting a bit.

We fished Friday evening on Pelican trolling cranks but only picked up 2 small eyes. Did much better on North Long Saturday morning, picking up 5 eaters and probably 6-8 hammer handles.

where do you even start on this lake? We're staying near Breezy for the week and there's so muchstructure my boat's spinning

I will be on Pelican starting Jul 11 and will have my Grandkids with me. So I would like to know how people are doing catching panfish and any details you can give be/ Are people also catching Crappie? I would also like to know how the walleye bite is okay and at what deph.
