Invasive species checks at public access on Gull

Anyone else run into the troll at the 371 access on Gull over the weekend?  Until the resorts are checking and providing boat cleaning before and after every launch, and there are volunteers are at every public access, his efforts are futile at best.  Go to the Zorba's access, there was nobody checking and you don't have to deal with the volunteer who thinks he is going to save Gull from being invested. It already is.  It took almost 40 minutes to get off the lake, we were one of 3 truck/trailers at the access and I think this guy just needed someone to talk to.   I am in favor or keeping lakes clean, but there is a limit to what can be done.  Saturday afternoon, he had 7 boats waiting and he was forcing boats to stay on the incline of the access to drip dry their boats, towel dry live wells, and what should have taken experienced boaters 2 minutes, was taking 20 minutes. 

 

Saturday evening when we came off the lake, I pulled the boat out of the water, and drove to the farthest part of the access.  I was scolded for not draining on the ramp.  I used the hose by the bathroom to fill a bucket and after the live wells were drained, I rinsed with the bathroom water through the live well/hoses, allowed it to drain. He explained that wasn't good enough.  I explained this was good enough to exchange bait, so it is good enough for live wells.  I drove away.  I know he wasn't happy. 

I pressure wash my boat between lakes, and shop vac the floor for any sand/vegetation, I agree not transfering stuff between lakes is important, but this guy was out of control. Anyone else have to deal with a troll like this?
