We are excited to announce a brand new Fishing Minnesota forum is rolling here. You will gradually be able to access more forums as time goes on. We opened the forums instead of waiting until they all have permissions to view, post, etc.

More changes will be coming in the next few days as we complete them. Please let us know of any bugs or issues in here. We will be very jammed getting the entire forum up and running, which will take a couple of days.

If you have a general complaint please use the contact us form at the bottom. We will do our best to work on legit issues.

We plan to get HSO live and rolling next weekend. Once HSO goes live we will have a Single Sign On and registration for HSO and FM. It may even work for HSOList and other applications as we add them.

Please be sure to post after you visit here. Pics are awesome.

It is important to "like" others posts that interest you and especially each others posts. Click on "Follow" to keep track of others who share, you may gather much more valuable information when you follow those who give the best information. "Following" threads can become a very handy tool as well. There will likely "be benefits" added via reputation score in the future for those who do give great info here.

I will repeat something a good friend said:

Here goes:

Everyone in this forum has the potential to steer the "feeling" in a positive direction. I know in the past we've seen changes in these forums and the more the you are behind it and work with it the better the transition. Continue to show all your fellow members a good time and the rest will fall inline just fine. If there was ever a time to flood these forums with top-notch, hard-hitting info, it's now.

My two-cents would be that once the change-over happens, everyone who has access to the forums stay active and keep everything positive and productive.

Get some banter going in the forum(s) you use and share your tips, reports, images, videos, etc.

You are a member here because you are among the best at sharing and using high quality information, stories and friendship.

We look forward to checking out your posts in the days and weeks that follow.

As we add features and benefits it's very possible you "like" what you see.

We will add announcements once things settle so you have an idea of some of the new features and how to use them.

Thank you so much for being a part of the Fishing Minnesota family.,

Rick

So HSO is gone until next weekend?? No Hunting, cooking, Silly Town, etc. until then??

Is the 'preview post' button gone too??

The old HSO forum is still there. The new one will be coming next weekend.

The Preview is right there as you type, add pics or video now. What you see is what you get. No need for the preview button.

If you want to add a pic or video you just use the Insert other media button. If you have pics you need to upload it's drag and drop or you can choose your files.

New site looks good will have to play with it to figure out how to navigate.  The only thing I notice, I still get directed to the old log in page that tells you the forum is down  Also, are all prior msg deleted and what about the avitars

I am working on that. Where are you coming from where that happens? All prior PMs, avatars, and signature files were not imported over. We did not want to wait until Tuesday to get the forums rolling after already being down for two days.

Why is it now when I click on a topic it starts at the start of the thread not the unread posts?

HSO will have a similar format and we will implement a single-sign-on and single-sign-up protocal to make it easy.
