Big Thanks to Ely Crew this weekend

A buddy and me finally made it out to Lac La Croix this weekend for the first time but ended up having some sled issues Sat night on the way out. My bearing for the drive shaft that drives the track went out and my 99 Pantera which is a tank was DOA. We ended up going to Voyagaire and the owner Jim gave us some straps and sled materiel to get it back. Well it was too much for my buddies Pantera to pull with no studs after 2 hours of trying to get it moved. We were staying at Voyageurs Landing and we went to the next unit and talked with the group of guys from Ely and they offered to give us a hand tomorrow. What a relief! We thanked them and ran to get something to eat as it was getting late.

About a hour and a half later we pull in to the lodge and we noticed a sled in the parking lot. I had to look twice as it seemed like a dream. There was my sled already back. Me and my buddy were dumbfounded. I was standing there just amazed and one of the guys yelled out the door "It's a Christmas Miracle" I said effing right it was. We went in and thanked them and tried to give them money and they wouldn't take it. Had some cocktails and talk'd awhile. Great bunch of guys. They said it only too them 45 min to run out and hook it up to 2 sleds and bring it back.

It is a horrible feeling to have to figure out how to get a sled back but everyone up there was willing to help us out the best they could and wanted to make sure they know it is much appreciated. So Jim from Voyagaire and the crew from Ely staying at Voyagaires Landing, This Buds for you,THANK YOU!
