Advice wanted. Since crappies have been slow, we thought about chasing walleye. When we first started fishing the croix a few years back, we would fish the edge of the hole east of Anderson's point.(18-26 fow).We would pick up a few small walleye and crappie, but had better luck in, and south of cappie town. What depth range are the folks fishing walleye targeting? Any other suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I have never had real a stellar day for walleys down there before but the 30ft mark off the tips of the numerous underwater fingers that stick our from shore seems to be the best for me. The good thing is you can go from to underwater point to point to point all way down shore till you find some active fish. There is a ton of structure in that area to scout out. I've caught more saugers than walleye in that area.

I had amazing Walleye and sauger action during the last warm spell in 8ft of water for about the last hour of day light. Only problem was they were all about 8".
