Big Diamond Lake near Bovey?

Anybody have any experience fishing Big Diamond Lake? It's a small-ish lake near Holman/Bovey.

It looks like there's a public access, but the last time MN DNR surveyed it was 1986. I have been invited to go ice fishing on that lake this year, and can't seem to find anything about the lake.

My dad used to take us there about 30 years ago and we would crappie fish in the summer.

It's your typical bass, panfish, pike lake like alot of the others around here.

Lots of houses cabins went up in that area I believe.

Might be some significant fishing pressure on it, but I'm not sure.

There's no longer a public access out there. At least there wasn't one 3 years ago. It was posted & a big burm was put up. Bummer, used to be a fun little bass & pike lake
