How's the night bite been up there? Heading up Sunday to stay in a sleeper with Portavilla, just wondering if we can expect to be up at night with the rattle reals?

Thanks!

It really depends on the weather, moon phase, etc. Some nights you have to pull them up if you want to get any sleep, other nights nothing, and everything in between. Definitely always worth putting them down though. Red definitely gives you good bang for your buck on a 24 hour trip since there is at least a decent chance for a night bite. Good luck!

+1 mine now don't care for night rattle reels, but due to her grabbing an eelpout in the middle of the night...She thought it was going to be a huge walleye...it was over 25", but wrong kind of fish...

Thursday night was good but the last couple nights were slow. Just a few per night in my house. Thursday night probably had 20 rattle reels go off.

We averaged 2-3 walleyes per hour at night this past weekend.
