I posted something yesterday but can't find it. My Big Buddy heater worked fine last week on both burners. Now....it burns for a short time on high, then goes out. I used a plain hose with a filter and 20 lb tank. Bought a new filter but now pilot won't light. Must not be getting gas. Guess I'll try a new hose. Any other ideas?

Mnfisher I had a similar issue with mine last year and got it working.

thanks...I did clean it but the thing that helped the most was buying a 10' hose (doesn't need a filter). Both burners worked on high but went out after 15 minutes. Put the fan on and it continued to work on high the rest of the evening. Wondering if the 02 sensor was bad, or maybe it detected C02 and went out but the fan just gave it enough air to keep it going. Sent an email to Mr. Heater tech dept but haven't heard from them yet.

Try some 1 lbs and if they work the issue is with your hose setup.
