Hey all my son has a hockey tourney at Breezy this weekend. I have most of Saturday afternoon to fish, 1pm on. Any suggestions for a walk out panfish lake in the area? I am not bringing a wheeler of snowmobile so I have to walk, obviously not driving considering the other reports from the area.

Thanks for the help.

The Jones Bay landing on Pelican is actually a good panfish bay. You can usually find the crappies and gills. At least enough to entertain you.

Tanks JP, will keep it in mind. Brining all my depth finders for my hockey team to use. Unfortunately, not a clearwater classic remaining in the bunch.... Miss that thing.

I would think the bay by the Breezy docks would be OK too. Just stay away from the channel in front of the restaurant.

You can drive across breezy bay at the access in breezy point resort the one they have the big launch boat sitting. From there you can go over that little sand hump and get to nelsons bay where that 20 foot hole is. I drove out there last weekend along with many others.

Well I walked out of the resort about 400 yards with my auger over my shoulder and flasher in hand. Fished about 3 hours Saturday on the edge that shallow flat out from Breezy. If anyone is looking for unlimited numbers of small perch I have just the spot for you. Drop a jig in the hole and they race up like air bubbles.

That was all I found. Ice was at least 12" anglers around the flat were driving trucks and cars from the Breezy access.
