Portable poles

My poles in my portable house are kind of sticking anything a guy could put on them that won't make a huge mess to lubricate them

One could go over them with steel wool and then maybe some wd 40 or graphite. R they bent some or stiff since new?

I have used a dry lube spray before and that seems to work ok and now i just wax the poles to help them slide a little easier. I'm sure you know but try to put both sides down at the same time when you are packing up.

Take them apart and clean them with a rag and carb cleaner. Then steel wool and powdered graphite. Anything liquid will just get all gunked up again. This is what I found to be best.

I've found it helpful to smooth out the ID/OD of the ends of the poles and have used bow string wax or spray silicone ,chapstick could also work , I have used graphite but it has the potential to get all over , check the ends of the poles for burrs or rough edges , that's probably what you're fighting
