So do you think this rain and snow will kill the ice. a couple days above freezing shouldn't hurt much but the rain?

I would think it will help ultimately if it melts the snowcover during the day and freezes at night.

As long as only the snow melts and freezes. If the ice itself melts and then refreezes, it'll be weaker.

The ice won't melt,it won't rain or be warm enough to melt the ice. It's going to help it.

Like those before me, hopefully the rain melts the small amount of snow on there, and then will freeze up hard during the night. Next week monday i think already highs in the mid twenties, so i think were safe
