Bloomington cracks down on e-cigs and cheap cigars

It is definitely the pussifacation factor.

I had occasion to ask a Delta Airline exec why E-Cigs were not allowed on their flights.

The answer floored me.

Because we don't want any of our non-smoking passengers to get upset, thinking that someone is smoking on the aircraft.

I'm not opposed to e-cigs, but they should be "enjoyed" in public just like regular cigarettes...outside and away from people who aren't interested in inhaling the vapor.

Most of the vapor I've experienced does have a smell. I've been in an elevator with people who thought it was fine to puff away - nobody else enjoyed it. I certainly don't want to be on a plane with people vaping. I'm sure there are security concerns with vaping on planes as well.

I can't argue with that. I never vape in public. Besides, there are ways to "stealth" vape so you don't release any vapor and nobody knows you're doing it. I'll do this when I'm at my in-laws.
