Looking for some fishable ice ponds/lakes.

maybe 4 inches on Okabena in places.... we recieved about 6 inches of snow, so that weight provided some pressure cracks. as much as it seems fun, be very cautious, we have plenty of winter. never go alone on first ice, wear floatation, don't bring much gear, always carry ice picks, and just fish daytime hours at first. no fish is worth your life.

Any of it blow off with this wind? I was thinking about possibly trying it this coming friday.

there are places it blew off, but still quite a bit of snow cover out there. not enough to insulate big time, but one still never knows

Checked the ice tonight in areas I checked it had 6.5-7in.
