He must've really [PoorWordUsage] off someone in the organization. I really don't get this one.

Already reporting he was a PITA and didn't get along with Russell Wilson.

Remember when Lmit said he was a draft bust and everyone would disagree, maybe he wasn't wrong.

Couldn't happen to a better cancer... Good luck w the New York media Percy!

Tells you just how much of a D-Bag this guy is knowing he was Seattle's most dangerous weapon at a position where they don't have a lot of depth and they dumped him.

Another very good talent down the drain because of a diva attitude.

looks as if the vikings actually got the better end of a trade for once...

Can't really say he was a bust for the Vikings. We got some value out of him while he played, and essentially traded him away for slightly more than we initially invested in him (he was 22nd overall, we got a 25th overall, a 3rd rounder, and a seventh rounder).

I agree with Labs. The writers will tear him apart. smirk

You can't go around beating up girls like Baldwin and Taint. He gave Taint a black eye last year and cut up Baldwins chin this year. He took himself out of the game and wouldn't go back in last week.

The Vikes dominated that trade.

As the shocking trade of Percy Harvin to the Jets continues to dominate the NFL news cycle, reports from Seattle indicate that the Seahawks simply decided they couldn’t tolerate Harvin’s misbehavior, which included multiple fights with teammates and a refusal to play late in Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys.

One fight took place the week before the Super Bowl and left then-Seahawks receiver Golden Tate with a black eye, according to Lance Zierlein of Sports Talk 790 in Houston. Another fight took place in the preseason this year and left receiver Doug Baldwin with a cut on his chin, according to the Seattle Times.

Harvin also reportedly took himself out of Sunday’s game and wouldn’t go back in when coaches asked him to play. Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was asked why Harvin didn’t play much late in the game and answered with a vague reference to “readiness,” but it now appears that the real problem was “willingness,” or lack thereof, of Harvin to get on the field.

Combining the reports out of Seattle with the widespread reports from two years ago that Harvin was a cancer in the Vikings’ locker room, it looks like the Jets just landed themselves a malcontent. They’d better have a plan for how to deal with Harvin’s inevitable unhappiness.

P-p-p-p-Percy and the Jets!

More then likely he was throwing fits because the SeaChickens were trying to be smart and limit his snaps so he can stay healthy. Now he can go be an every down player for the Jets and play a few weeks before going on IR lol.

he wont last long in NY either, I'm sure him and Rex will get along great

And they only got a 6th rounder for him.........well maybe a 4th if the trade pans out. So yeah, they got a 6th rounder. Heck yeah the Vikes got the better of a trade for once!!

Posted

The only question is who will be the first to be ousted from NY, Percy or Rex?

Posted

Ya at first I questioned getting rid of a weapon like Percy. It didn't take long to realize it was a great move and appears more so as time goes on. Another one self destructs....

Thanks for the ball Percy!! Ol' Percy tossed me the ball after he caught that TD against us on Sunday. I had front row corner of the end zone where he caught it.

Did you get to keep it?

Yeah I got it right here, soon as I caught it I slipped it under my jersey so no one would try to take it or ask for it back. grin

One of the security guys walked up to me later and said that's pretty cool that I got a ball from Percy.

If anyone can find us on TV let me know, I can't find much in the highlights. The best one I can find they cut us off from the chest down as Percy is making his way toward us. I didn't get to watch the game so not sure if we are on there I'm in a black 84 Moss jersey, my GF is in a white Peterson jersey holding a sign.

In the highlights right when he's going to toss it to me they change the footage to Geno jumping with some of his players and coaches.

At halftime a bunch of mascots played football against a kids team, it's pretty funny you can watch it on the Vikings page. We had Crunch climb the wall and jump over the railing to get some pics with him, also got about 50 high fives from the Vikings Cheerleaders, pretty fun game!
