Fun day Tom. I had him for a buck with my 8 5/8ths but he pulled a rabbit out of his hat and grabbed a 8 3/4ths. No 9,s but lottsa good eaters today from 7 1/2 to 8 1/2. 15 to 17 feet jigs tipped with crawler or gulp waxies.

Royce you're going to ruffle Paul's feathers by posting this in the St. Cloud forum. Anyone who has fished Clearwater can tell that's the "Black Poll" access. Should be in Annandale forum, you know better. LOL!

Great afternoon, then evening on the water Royce. Although far from being "mighty"; it was especially enjoyable getting my buck back from the winter biggest gill contest.

Hahaha...... I think our "Quest for the One" will have to take us to some of my northern Minnesota sweet spots. Although the Annandale area has a few here and there, many more lakes and little puddles around Alexandria, or north of Brainerd, give up more opportunities to set into fish over that 10 inch mark.

Now thru August is a great time of the year to run with the bulls.
