Bad axe lake access

Anybody have an idea how to access bad axe with a small boat, I asked at isle o dreams and got a no (private only our guest) any help, would be great

Your second choice of lakes would be ......?

I thought that might be the answer, any ideas aside from the big lakes

Sorry should of finished, panfish and good scenery ( been out to waubay, sd caught lots of eyes and no scenery) mantrap work?

6 years late on the response...however there is no public access on the lake. There was a large parcel of land for sale on the west side of the lake that the DNR was rumored to want, to be able to put an access on the lake, but it was sold to the Boy Scouts instead. I fish the lake every year and we boat a few Muskies every time, largest being 46” in 2018. We hear about some walleyes being caught but it’s few and far between. Crappies, Sun Fish, and Bass (large and smallmouth), are very prevalent and pretty large with the limited pressure the lake sees. Northern Pike in the lake are large and it’s not uncommon to catch a couple around the 40”+ mark.
