Gull Lake, Wednesday

Recommended Posts

Just got back from Madden's (had a GM conference for work) and we got to fish with WalleyeDan and his crew on Wednesday afternoon. First off, the boats and gear were immaculate! Second, they were knowledgeable and kept us on fish even though the bite was tough. WalleyeDan's boat ended up with 10 keeper eyes, which is impressive with how tough the bite really was. In my boat, we had a guy that had never caught a fish and he ended up with a 3.5# bass for his first fish! All fish were caught on jigs baited with shiners and were found on the bottom in anywhere from 6' to 20'.

This was one of the best guide experiences I've had and the rest of the manager's talked about it throughout the entire evening. If you're in the Brainerd area and are looking for a guide, be sure to give WalleyeDan a call, you wont be disappointed!

It definately sounded like you guys were having fun. Even when one of the crew offered to swim over to get their pic taken with a fish caught from the dock...
