Got a 96' Lund Pro V 1660 tiller thats got a leak somewhere, nothing to bad, say a couple gallons for a day on the lake, but enough to get on my nerves! I have filled the bilge up and couldn't see any leaking rivets so I am assuming it is something with the livewell. I pulled the sections of floor that reveal the pumps/valves and all the main connections to the livewell and they all look secure, little rusty at most. Problem I am running into is I am very limited for time so was looking for suggestions on whats the best local shop to have them fix my leak! Better yet anyone on here who has experience with the matter and wouldn't mind making a couple extra bucks. Is it worth it for me to just replace all the hoses and hose clamps and see if that takes care of it? What kinda damages am I looking at to have it brought to a shop? Thanks in advance guys! I have done alot of searches on the internet and they all seem to point to the livewell as my culprit. Any other suggestions would be greatly helpful as well!

Did you fill up your livewell and leak test it while you have the floor off exposing the plumbing?

I had the same problem in one of my boats awhile back. Turned out to be a cracked livewell pump. Probably from water left in it when put in storage, and it froze, therefore cracking the pump.

No I haven't, I leak tested the livewell, but with the floor in tact, I will try that tomorrow see what I come up with. Thanks!

Have you looked at the transom close? Where tranducers are hooked up, etc? I have only heard or rivets coming loose underneath the livewells on the earlier prov models, 1989 or so.

Still lost, filled the bilge again to the carpet line, couldn't find a drop, leak tested the livewell, nothing, running out of ideas here!

I had a Lund that had a leak in the splash well. You could try plugging your drain holes and fill up your splash well and look for any water dripping in.

Hmmm must be higher than? Check the splash rail. Boat might sit a little lower than your floor out on the water if its fully loaded with stuff. Its gotta be a rivet somewhere or your live well hose.

Fill the livewell up with water and add dye. Bunk trailer or roller ? If roller suspect areas around the rollers. My guess would be leaky pumps water leaks in but not out .

Plug your live well intake hole and go fishing. Don't use your live well.

If you have no water at the end of the day it's something with your live well. If you have water it's a rivet or splash well.
