It's ice piled up near shore by the strong winds we've been having. That's gonna be a cold water source for a while!!!

Not sure how much is gonna make it to Upper Red, but the local weather guys are saying we could see quite a bit of rain over the next few days! Hope this helps to bring up the lake(s) level a bit. By the looks of the river here in TRF, I'd guess they've got the dam on Lower Red Lake buttoned up pretty tight already.

Is all the ice off the lake now, or is there still a sheet floating around out there?
