My son is at it again!

This past Sunday we were crappie fishing on Lake Waverly and my son hooked this huge 33" carp. My wife had to tighten the drag while he was reeling as the fish made several strong runs. He boated it all by himself, all I had to do is lift the fish into the boat. It was such a thrill to see!

it was nice to meet you today at Flippin Bill's gas station. Tell your son he caught a nice carp. you guys should drive over to Monticello sometime and try the mississippi river sometime. there is a good amount of suckers and carp and channel cats to be caught. I could always show you a few of the places I fish in the area.

Montissippi is my main place I fish around Monticello when I want to fish the river but don't feel like driving to Becker or Otsego.It is a good spot for Smallies and Channel cats. there is Carp and sucker there too. I also like to fish Snuffy's Landing in Becker and Otsego County Park in Otsego.
