Was out tonight for a few hours, mainly making sure boat is working properly (it was!) but also trying for some crappies.

Surface Temp reached 61 in some areas of north end by about 7 pm, which surprised me a bit. We caught some tiny sunfish and one actually real nice perch, on tiny salty tubes. No bites under bobber, but when casting. We saw some crappies hiding under the crappy weeds floating in shallow water, but none would hit. Main lake temp was about 52 when we got there about 4 but raised to about 58 by the time we left just before sunset - surface temp of course.

Tried a few spots in more open water and nada.

The redone ramp is real nice, though only the west dock is in now.

(Tom I got your number, will call you and get out there soon! I had my boss with, my work boss, otherwise would have called tonight! It was nice out there! It's always nice when your boss says, "Box, lets' go fishing! I'll bring the beer and snacks!")
