From what I have heard, it's not out but now away from the shore and very dark....should be pretty soon but may not be by opener!

does anybody try to catch smelt on this lake when the spawn. just wonderinging, and if you do, where and how would you do it?

It's about time for the ice to be off!! I fished it 5/30 and did well. I'd like to get up there again but figuring it might be difficult to find anything this time of year.
