Leech Water Level

When we closed up our seasonal last October the big lake was way down. How do things look now? I know everyone feels this way but.....man this late out is a real frustrating deal. I feel bad for all those small businesses like bait shops that are hurting this year.

Can't tell what the water level is like with all the ice on the lake, unfortunately.

You might google Leech Lake Water Level. Looks like last Oct. the level was at 1294.0 or a little lower. Today it is at 1294.5. The elevation is in FEET. Just "eyeballing" it, I would say it is about at normal pool. I will be able to tell better when we can get the dock in.

It's not very scientific but by looking at the deadheads in kab narrows the water is about "average". Not high at all for this time of year.
