Nels Lake Road, Echo Trail?

Just wondering if anybody has been on Nels Lake Road off the Echo Trail lately ... would like to get up to the cabin but don't want to get up there only to find piles/drifts of snow across the road. Few years ago I went up in late April when everything else was clear but ended up having to walk back because of deep snow.

I went past that road two days ago and saw snow but nothing deep. In the last few days we've been into a couple clients' places, which were not plowed all winter, and those driveways were clear even of the plow berms. We're looking at 60s-70s the next few days, so I would think you'd be OK. I didn't take a really close look at Nels Lake Rd., however.

I was up the Echo yesterday and there is some snow in some places but it really depends on the amount of shade the road gets. I was in the upper parking lot of the Big Lake access that wasn't plowed all winter and there was about 2 feet of snow on the south end where the trees had given it shade but it was soft and real wet. I didn't have time to go down Nel's lake road but I would have to say that you should be good to go.
