Lower Bottle Lake

We will be going up to Park Rapids to Lower Bottle Lake. Would really appriciate a fishing report on where to catch some fish. I understand it is a good lake to fish. Staying at resort on North end of Upper Bottle Lake. Will fish with daughter and grandson and great grandson. Thanks. Viet Nam War Vet

When are you going to be up there? We stayed at Whippoorwill Resort last summer. The fishing was OK but the time of year will make a difference on tactics you need to use.

I grew up fishing lower bottle. It is one of my favorites!

I personally like Lower Bottle over Upper Bottle. More structure to fish in my opinion. Both lakes have a sunken islad and Lower Bottle has a nice bar to fish on/around.

We head up to Home Bay on Lower Bottle June 29-July 6th!! Can't wait!!!
