Can you walk out there? Or is it a mess?

I only drove by there yesterday (wed), but it sure looked like a mess. However I still think you could walk out from there just by going off to the either side of the main access. That being said, people are walking out from the public access located near the bar/resturant. I did see at least one 4-wheeler out there, not sure if I would do that.

I fished clear water Tuesday and it was an extremely slow bite. I was on tons of fish, the vexilar constantly had 3+ fish on it and I was in about 10'. I just couldn't get them to bite, I ended up getting a walleye and some sunfish, the guy I was with got some sunfish and crappie, one was around 14". I recommend light line and fineness presentations. I used BJ's access, there is quite a bit of open water, but if you walk out to the left you are just fine. A four wheeler would probably be fine too, just avoid the bad parts, and your a maniac if you try and drive out. I did not measure, but there was about 18" of ice then, and 1/3rd of it was junk. I think I'll get the ice gear out this weekend as my last trip, not sure where to yet. After this rain that's coming I'm hanging up the short rods.

Fished it yesterday. Ice is getting interesting along the shore and even some spots along the "road" that people used to use as it goes out into the lake. Fishing was painfully slow.

I still see some guys out. Fishing is slow though and ice is getting soft. I am done for year now and looking forward to open water.

I got to a private cedar lake access today, and there was no way I was getting out. It was open water 20 feet out, and it just looked like bad ice. I'm thinking my prediction of open water in 2 weeks might still happen.

Was on Clearwater yesterday, couldn't believe my eyes when I saw a full size truck out there . We took the wheeler out of Bob's bay, little sloppy, but still plenty of ice yet.

I saw the truck out there also. I want to know how he/she got it on and off the lake. Our dog was breaking ice at the black hole access. We have a place at the "community resort" on the lake, and natural selection was a common topic after seeing that truck out there.
