Well, since I will be going to the Rainy river is 12 days, I put all my ice gear away for the summer.

I had one of the best ice season I have had in years but due to my shoulder injury, time to give it a rest.

I know, alot of good panfish action yet before ice out but the rivers will soon be open and the boat will be my means of fishing.

See you on the open water.

Good luck up on the Rainy. Let me know how it went when you get back. Hopefully it will be at least half as good as last year for you.

I think I'm done too. I have plans this weekend and the shorelines are softening up more every day. 8 months until 1st ice!

I would be more than happy with half as good as last srping. Last spring we simply laid the smackdown on the eyes and had some nice fish ta boot.

More than likely will fish for walleye the majority of the time. I will have the sturgeon gear with incase the eye bite is slow and some are boating sturg.

If the eye bite is as good as last Apeil, hard to beat that bite. last April one of the days we boated close to 100 fish and the average eye ran 5 pounds.

Have to wait and see what is going the best but I will be ready for either.
