I have a nation weather header on my computer and it says -9 in princeton this morning. I was hoping we would melt some of the snow pack on the lakes, but that is not happening. Also I think I need to get some snow camo for the first turkey season that I drew a tag for. Tomorrow I will be taking my father inlaw out fishing and to teach him how to use his new vexilar he bought. It should be a great day when I see the light bulb turn on when he figures it out. have fun, lookin like next weeks weather will b perfect for taking kiddos ice fishing over spring break, plenty-o-ice & in mid 30's to 40...picture perfect weather with almost no worries of unsafe ice

Well I went turkey scouting this morning and boy the lakes looked to be in good shape. I did not go out on them but they have refroze. You may need your anti slip foot wear. Ann Lake near Zimmerman had no one on it. I drove down to the access and they want you to pay to use it. I checked out Little Elk Lake it looked out the area around the dam is opening up some, but I did not check Ridgewood access. I am hoping to get out fishing one day this week and maybe Sunday.

pay to use Ann Lake? What the heck for? I take it the lake association must control the access? I don't think you could pay me to fish the lake but it is nice to launch and go to the park/beach.

Ann lake has been that way for as long as I can remember and it is the lake association that takes care of it and I think they also funded the dock but I'm not positive on that.

huh I wasn't aware of that...I have launched their only a couple times and never noticed the pay box...next time I know...Thanks
