St. Cloud Area Reports

I'm looking for any advice on which St. Cloud/Cold Spring area lakes have been producing some panfish recently. Heading out Saturday afternoon and we'll have sleds to move with. Has anyone been on Rice recently?? Thanks!

The Briggs chain, Pearl, Grand, Big and Little Birch, Clearwater and the Western lakes on the Horseshoe chain have been producing panfish along with some of the lesser know lakes.

Rice is always a good bet, I don't have any current info other than we were getting some nice sized gills/crappies in the big shallow bay a few weeks ago.

Rice got pounded once again this year for crappies. We were out there a couple times not to long ago and alot of small lethargic fish were around. I haven't searched for gills out there though. The briggs chain like Rick said should be hoppin pretty good
