Does anyone have any info on this thing? I am going to try it but I am concerned that it is only like a foot deep. I would like to have some idea of what I am getting into.

Don't be discouraged by the 2009 lake survey report. Fundamental changes to that lake in 3 years, namely an October 2009 chemical reclamation. The lake was cleared of carp and bullheads, restocked with gamefish, and now has lots of pike, perch, bluegills, and crappies. Move around, check the island, mid-lake areas with sufficient depth, and you'll be rewarded with fish. If I lived down there, I'd get to know this lake. It's got some nice fish.

Very true.. This lake has been killed off to destroy rough fish. They even have electric barrier devices to keep carp out. The lake has been stocked with perch and northern.

Thanks for sharing, I really like that map. I would guess you could subtract at least a foot off those depths with the low water levels we had this fall. Back years ago, it always seemd like there were a few houses south of the island in that deeper water area, year after year. I remeber snowmobiling across it and hitting a couple soft spots in the dead of winter on the northside of the island. It was there two years in a row, so I am guessing there is a nice little spring there. It's weird this lake doesnt have an aerator.. Good luck all!
