LMIT I am concerned about your health! However I do believe you are right he deserves the award.

I'm sure Dickerson is smiling tonight but like a previous comment said had Adrian been 100% at the beginning of the year this record would have been destroyed. In the first 6 games of the year he had one 100 yard game! The fact is this was the best year ever by any running back if you look at yards per carry and the number of attempts to get the yards.

Great season for Peterson, it was tough to see him get so close. Imagine if Peterson was playing in 1984 when average 40 yard dash times were, what 5.0? And average lineman and linebacker weight was what, 240? He's shredding guys today that are bigger and faster, he'd be like Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson in 1984. Dickerson can thank his lucky stars tonight's game didn't go to overtime and that AD got 31 less carries in 2012 than Mr. Fourth Quarter got in '84.

4 fumbles with 2 lost all year, Peterson's come a long ways with that. 2012 Peterson put back on the 2009 would have been pretty sweet; slightly better runner without the fumbles. 14 fumbles for Dickerson in 1984.

Congrats to A.P. and the Vikes. Would have been great to see him get the record, but he pushed the Vikes into the playoffs and that is what really matters!

Now that Allen and Peterson have come up just shy of big single season records on back to back years, I can't help but think that Ponder is in line to come up just short of the passing record next year shocked

Seriously, congrats to AP...what a year!!

Should win MVP in a landslide considering his QB play this year.....

just imagine if the the vikes pull out a miracle and win 4 more consecutive games giving ponder a ring. Might be the worst quarterback ever ta get one. I say the vikes got a shot. I think if they can get passed the packers, i think they could beat atlanta and i know they can beat the 49ers. SUPERBOWL BAAAAAAAAAAAABY. Id love ta watch the vikes ta a stab at denver or the pats in febuary.

AP should be in the conversation for MVP, no doubt, HOWEVER on the biggest most important play in the last few yrs for the Vikings, 3 and 11 with just a couple of minutes left was he on the field?

One can say that 3rd down plays are always the most crucial plays in every game, how many 3rd down plays is AP on the field for? How is a player MVP if he is not good enough to play in all situations?

Congrats to AP for a great come back season. Hopefully they can give green bay a run for the money in the playoffs.

Well considering he's a running back and it was 3rd and 11, he's probably not going to get the ball. Why would the run the ball when they absolutely NEED 11 yards to win or probably lose the game. Screen pass maybe, but not in that situation. Then you have Toby a good blocking rb who was on the bench the whole drive. Why not put in a fresh rb to block?

When do you expect Peterson to rest? He's been on the field for 3rd downs more this year then any other year, 3rd and long we use Toby.

Who busted a nice run at the end of the game to get well into field goal range for the win?

Peterson and Manning for C0-MVP. They should also share the come back player of the year award.

Toby for MVP? Nah. AP was not in cause he cannot or will not block and for whatever reason the coaches think his is not a dependable receiver.

Because if you remove him from the Vikings they finish dead last.

Manning walked in to a playoff winning team this year, a team that was winning with Tebow. He has had an outstanding year but so have other QB's in a league that has become set up for QB's to thrive and have big numbers. Peterson took a bottom dwelling team and carried them on his back to the playoffs while having the best year a running back has maybe ever had. Will other QB's ever have a year like Manning has this year? Most certainly. Will a running back ever have a season like Adrian just did? Maybe not. Sure hope he doesn't get robbed of the award.

AP for sure, the vikes were like 31st was it in the rankings when the season started, Denver wasn't near the bottom. How many years has the league been going ? He's the was it 7th RB to go for 2K yardage ? AP changed games, other teams dared CP to beat them and AP ran through them and I'd be fine with him not winning for sure if we didn't make the playoffs, although he would be right there anyway in the voting.

The MVP should be on the field for all important plays, in fact the MVP should impact all important plays. After all he is the MVP right?

Well, in that case Peyton is out of the running too. He didn't play on all of those important defensive plays against SD when they were down 20 points or whatever it was. Nor did Peyton run the ball on all of those running plays. Heck, the way I see it, he watched just like AD did on those 3rd downs. So, since neither Peyton or AD can win, who wins now?

I understand, you're probably a Bronco's fan. So am I. But AD should win this award, or at least share it with Manning. Both of them are more than deserving. (Plus Peyton was given a playoff team, not a 3-13 team)

Wrong, not a Donkey fan. By the way, Peyton calls the plays, runs the O, and perhaps you did not notice the passes on those 3rd down plays. Peyton throws them. Peyton IMO should not be MVP, comeback player for sure.

Who should win? Aaron Rodgers IMO.

It don't really matter what should be right and wrong, the league wants to make love to QB's that's just the way it is.

Talk all you want Anti-ro but AP has put together a more incredible season than anyone. This voting is already over, put it in the bag

I feel AP will get come back player of the year, but Manning will get MVP. Not because Peterson doesnt deserve it more, but because the media kisses Mannings butt.

I don't know, this save the plant thing looks like a money maker, for someone! 🫤 Where do you think electric prices are going to go when they have the monopoly for everything that moves! 🙄

Nice!   It would be great if they had some kind of brake, so you don't end up on your neighbors YouTube video going down the driveway! 😆

Last month I went searching online for a trailer jack with pneumatic tires. Instead I found the video below showing a relatively quick and easy upgrade to your existing jack:     It's worked pretty well. I definitely had to mess around with finding the right combination of spacers, washers, and locknut pressure that wouldn't bind up the wheels. However, it is a pretty sweet setup and allows me much better control. We live at the end of a half-alley. My garage faces the end so when I need to hook my boat up to the truck, I have to pull it out into my driveway and then swivel it 180 degrees to face towards the street. The handle is what really makes the difference and now the trailer jack wheels don't slide on the asphalt. Has anyone else done this conversion?

I've got a pile of crawlers ready to go - a nice side benefit of all the rain in the metro lately.   At the very least, I hope that the remaining trappers are making some better money off of the higher prices. I would think that it would be a great way for local kids to make some cash. I can see why it wouldn't make for a great way to make a living as an adult.

Went out yesterday with the sunshine. I did find crappies in the shallows on a darker stained lake with Temps at 58 degrees. They had no interest in my baits

That's part of it.  Several recent years of drought have definitely played a role.   There's other factors too.  MN does not allow importation of live bait from other states either.  That really affects the amount of golden shiners available, most of which are not trapped here.  In other words, demand exceeds supply.   Lots of bait trappers and dealers have simply hung it up in recent years.  Its hard work for not much money.  The two nearest me are both done as of last October.  They both told me its just not worth it anymore.  One of them had been there for 45 years.   My advice would be to learn how to effectively fish with artificial lures more often.  I've slowly weened myself off the use of live bait nowadays.
