MMad, those last 2 pix are enough to get anyone's buck fever to start spiking! Not the rack so much as the stance and neck of that buck and the scenario you are witnessing. Cool pix.

O'kay now what kind of camera?

Also a question can most of you put your SD card directly in a regular camera and few it. I know some camera's you can not. At times it is nice to look at pictures in the field.

Looks like an older Moultrie Flash camera.

Some game cameras and point and shoot cameras with a LCD viewing screen are compatible. It all depends on the type of formatting the two cameras use for picture storage. You basically have to test and see.

I'd love to post all my deer pics for the year, but some low life cut through hardened lag bolts and my cable lock to steal my cameras.

Saw this guy tonight just before 5. Wouldn't be my biggest, but would be with a bow. I'll let it fly given the opportunity.

What's a good trail cam? My Stealthcam I bought a few years ago is garbage..

What is your price point? If money isn't a problem, Reconyx ($500+). If you want a good camera, at a fair price point (Moultrie M-80 ($140-170) or Bushnell Trophy Cam ($150-180).

*I realize there are many other options, and many that may be good/better/whatever, but in my experience, this is where I would start my search.

I use the spypoint G4 that I got for $99. The batteries (6 AA's) last forever in it and it takes decent pictures.

Ripn lips, they are in a seeking phase. Nose to the ground intersecting doe trail/bedding areas. Looking for a hot doe, which in one area I hunt one musta come into estrus early. Bucks we're on their feet grunting. Should be a good weekend. Typical pre-rut. If there is a hot doe it seems like the rut is on. If not, it's just cold and quiet.

This messed up guy has been hanging around the property quite a bit.

Cool pictures and 2 different bait piles, what do you usually spend since you must keep feeding throughout the winter and spring ?

Oh right on right on, thinkin I'm seein the reason for not allowing baited hunts in MN because a muzzy or bow hunter it would be heaven. 9:40 AM and that big guy has no fear of the daylight although he seems concerned lol. Cool pictures. Do you then feed through the winter/spring or do you stop when muzzy and bow are done ?

LOL... if that was MN those deer wouldn't be there at 9:40 in the daylight!

Was happy to see "tumor buck" made it, (on his belly) saw him Saturday of opener but no shot, also broke a few tines since. He should be a stud next year. The small one with what looks like 2 main beams. Here are a few other ones that should be dandies next near... full-38623-27167-pict0017.jpg
