Goose lake?

Havent been out on this lake since early ice how r ppl doing out there? Dont need spots just would like to hear some of the catches if your willing to share? Thanks.

I've been out a couple of times, pretty much so-so. Caught a couple crappies, nothing big,8 to 10 inchers. Pretty rough getting on the lake, almost need a monster truck, and 4x4 for certain.

Looking to try this lake for some crappies once ice is it (if it hasn't already) Can you get between the North Bay and South bay easily?  and is it the right place to bring the daughter for some crappie and sunny action?

Going through the channel won’t be an issue unless the water is high. The shallower upper lake will warm quicker, so you may not need to go through there anyway.

I have been looking and i see people mention paying $5 to use an access at a resort, anyone know where that is located?

It's in the narrows between the north and south lake right at the bridge.

Thank you. We bought our first boat this spring and hoping to get after some sunnies and crappies here soon. Will be a change from our winters being spent on Mille Lacs chasing the eyes.
