Anyone tried this lake out, any reports?

heard something about it earlier in the year but nothing as of late...i was about to hit it 2 weekends ago but with no reports or info from some of the local baitshops I chose to go elsewhere.......

stop by earlier, but forgot my flasher so had to go back home which was 20mins away so decided to go else where. Will go back somtime this week. Did saw some people out there don't know if they caught anything.

I fish this lake a lot.. never catch anything except small rock bass

if you only catch small rock bass then why would one fish it alot? I know there are crappies in the lake as I would always catch them there just far and few between for good size.....but haven't been out in 2 years......time to get back out there

it also had a good population of decent size northerns. i also haven't fished it for a while. good luck.

I have fished it just this last weekend and couldn't find a thing. 30 holes.

Fished it 2 weeks ago and pulled a couple small sunnies and a 9lb 10ounce carp out of a hole. Talk about a wild ride that was. Crappie jig and a waxy.

I live on the lake....it is close..lol...There are some decent Pike in this lake. I had a lot better luck summer fishing them....The crappies have been really slow...Have caught a million little perch and Rock Bass.

well then that explains it a bit..lol as the ice is getting to where you should only walk out is when I tend to do better on this lake but I have had a decent or two days out there in mid-winter.....has this lake had much pressure in the last couple years....2 or 3 years ago there was a fair amount but not alot...

For as small as the lake is it gets quite a bit of pressure. One morning this summer I was out and thought I missed out on the fishing contest invitation. This winter I have seen as many as 30 houses on a weekend. Seems like a lot for such a small lake.

I know in spring time I have heard guys catching walleyes by the road but other than that I haven't been on it in the summer as the only time I tried the water was to high and couldn't get the boat in the water!! Good Luck
