I was just looking at a map of the Fairbo area and am wondering if anybody has any info on Fox Lake. I have fished the area before but never on this lake. Just wondering if it would be a waste of time or not...

I only fished for walleyes on fox and its a hit and mess lake. Its a really clear lake so night is the time go off the steep drop offs on the east side. 10-15' has been the best depth for me where the rocks are.

Any panfish??? Is it a very busy lake like the surrounding?

I know in the summer I see an old guy always anchored in the same spot catching gills. I have never seen him catch anything of any size though. But he is ALWAYS out there when I am.

I fish Fox a lot and it's worth the effort. When you find the fish you will have a great time as the fish seam to stay in that general area for awhile. I have always had the best luck after 5pm.

Tricky as in getting stuck, or tricky as in bad ice.

A couple of guys have plowed the main road out, to get over the "hump" is a little hard.

There are some drifts on the lake but not that bad. I would have a shovel along if you plan on doing any off roading.

Sifty
