Day Trip Perch Bite

Wanting to make a day trip to either Leech or Winnie for some perch. Coming from the Alexandria area for just the day, it has been a few years since making a perch trip and a bit out of the loop! Is the bite going at all? Any suggestions where to drive on or resorts to contact for access/reports? Anything would help to make the trip worth while, Thanks.

there is a solid perch bite on the west side of the lake. people with snowmobiles and portables heading out past the humps into shallower water (17) ft but it takes some effort to get there.

the resort has a guide that takes trips in the snow bear out to that area and has come back with limits every time. look them up for an option.

plug hat was good but a ton of small fish to sort through but at least it's action.

we are still looking for a solid bite that we can plow to.

hopefully the north shore run will pay off big time.
