Pleasant Lake Scott County

Has anyone ever fished this lake? I decided to take a little adventure last night after getting sick and tired of dealing with all the people on the other local lakes. The DNR survey looks promising, but it is old.

I drilled a few holes about 100 yards right out from the access to check depths and didn’t see anything for awhile. At dark, the Marcum lit up. I was finally able to get a few tiny crappies, and one about 14". They were almost impossible to catch. I finally gave up after a couple hours. Are there any deeper holes in this lake? I found 6', but didn't do very much exploring.

Ive tried fishing it also and found only dinks and tiny pannies. It may seem that it fish kills often? Plus my experiences on it are annoyed by the surrounding neighborhood dogs that arent leashed and running around in the areas. Almost being bitten is not fun at all.

So that must have been you out there the other evening I saw when I drove by? I was laughing to myself wondering why anyone would be wasting their time. I guess the joke is on me. A 14" crappie is a dandy. Heck, thats Red Lake size right there.

How was the climb back up the access?? Was it icy? That hill can be a doozie dragging a duck boat up I know.
