New to the area need advice.......

Recommended Posts

Just moved to the area, and am thinking about having a gas fireplace installed in my home. Just wondering if any locals can refer a dependable outfit to help me out with the project. any advice would be greatly appreciated. By the way we are in the underwood area. Thank you.

There are a couple of good, old time outfits in Fergus Falls. Be aware that some smaller "businesses" may not be licensed and bonded and they may not even be aware of code requirements. This is ONE install you want done correctly.

Proceed carefully.

you might want to check the gas prices before you get 1,your going to hate the price of gas up here . i regret every getting it put in, i moved up here from the south and knowing nothing about this freezer up here i was sold on it till i got the gas bill. maybe think about a wood burning stove if you don't mine chopping wood or buying it. little tip watch out for this tree they got up here it can ruin a brand new chain blade in about 3 cuts and the tree throws sparks at ya. but when you do get it all cut it puts off alot of heat it's called IRON WOOD.
