Area lake info.......

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, my old man lives over in Fargo and is looking for a few lakes to try in the area. He's been on Lida and has not had much success. He's 4x4 equipped and has all the gear but not much info on area lakes, looking for any kind of active bite, no spots, just a few lakes to head to and explore, thanks.

Sorry but if he can't catch fish on Lida, I don't know how to help him...

Pardon me, but the bite is extremely slow on Lida right now. Call it lack of oxegen due to snow cover, weather fronts, or just that time of year. Just lookers is all I am finding on Lida. With the ocasional female crapie or larger Wally. Very slow on Lida for me.

Make a list of lakes and start fishing........ Some that come to mind would be sallie, Big Detroit/Little Detroit, Pearl, Little/middle/big C, not sure if Stump is any good haven't been out there is a few years, We were out last weekend the bite was tough. Good luck to him and be safe...lots of flooding.

This cold weather has kept me off the ice for the last week. Next week looks great though and should be able to get three days of fishing in. Im hoping some stable warmer weather will pick things up.

Try getting away from the crowds on lida. Bite has been steady for me all year, but not in the mayhem. Try being a leader not a follower.
