Yes, there is only one place to be on friday and saturday. If I get my spear back by then. I think we should change behindthehead name to twiceinthetail. I think we should have a vote on that name change at the get to gether.

he will have his spear back. its just in my truck.

i should have the chisles done tomorow by noon or so. got them welded today. just need to sharpen, sand blast, and paint!

then its spearing time. was this morning from 8-1. saw 2 speared one bout 30". my buddy in my prorable saw one and speared it bout 28". after 10 am untill dark has been the best for me so far. dont think i have seen a fish untill 10 or 10:30. so if you cant make it till noon dont count the day as a loss.

yesterday i got on the lake at 2 pm, moved my house and still saw 3 fish.

one of my buddys bout 1/2 mile away from me got a 39" that weighed close to 16# today.

Can anyone give some directions to the access we will be meeting at? I will be coming south on 169. Also if anyone has been on the lake since the last snow that we got, how are driving conditions out there?

Thanks,

Bowhunt

Don't take me wrong, I'm not anti-technology.  Battery powdered items will always have their place.  I'm mean you don't want your girl friend or wife in the bedroom playing for their gas powered adult toys!!  That would be a bit loud and smokey!

That’s right. My 84 year old dad loves his electric chain saw. Light weight and quiet. Besides, at his age he’s not cutting a bunch. Where as myself I want something with more power and heavier duty.  Look at how many people have switched back to gasoline cars after running one in winter if you travel a lot.   As long as my strike master works I’ll keep using gas. Maybe my next will be electric, but who knows,  you can find used gas ones pretty reasonable as others buy electric.

This is the bait frig at L&M in Virginia, the other day. Also, added Highway 65 bait.

I think electric items have their places, I just don't think large commercial jobs are going to be able to work well with them. Can't see a logging crew out in the woods all day changing batteries!
