Mitchell Lake near Fifty Lakes

Any reports from this lake? About 6 of us are going to try ice fishing there for the first time. We've caught crappies and an occasional walleye in the summer . Any recommendations as far as starting points, ice conditions etc. would be appreciated.

watch out for the creek areas. Probably some slush with the extra snow.

Not much to go on, used to be alot of crappies. walleyes are few and far between but they are nice

I have a buddy that has a cabin on the east side of the lake and we go up there a few times in the spring to fish it hard. I have never ice fished the lake, but it is a deep lake and there should be a lot of structure you can find to try around. And yes, there are some PIG northerns in there as well as some trophy eyes but I wouldn't expect a fast and furious bite. I would try tip ups for sure!
