I fished out there on Saturday evening from about 5:00-8:30. The fish were not biting that much. I did catch 10 crappies and a few sunfish, but you had to work really hard to get them. They did not bite hard at all.

when i went to work friday there were a few houses out there not to many i get home last night and there was like 50 houses out there in the normal spots.

I have seen a lot of "cities" set up on lakes over the past week. I think a lot of people are getting out now that they can. The ice is safer, the snow has stopped (for now) and Christmas and New Years have past.

fished out here last week and caught a number of smaller sunnies, threw them all back. is anyone having any better luck than that.

mrklean, What makes normal spots on constance? Adeep hole or is there other fish holding items under the water?

usually straight out from the access i think its about 18-20 feet almost the deepest spots on the lake they always go there and to the right of the access some to the lake is pretty much a bowl 2 deeper spots

can't give a update since I haven't fished yet this year but as far as being drivable, it is safe to drive on. I drive past it everyday going to and from work and I will stop and drive out just to check out what is going on. I may try it this weekend or next just don't know yet when.

was able to drive across the lake today on the way home. got on at the unmarked township access and drove all away across the lake. everything is packed down and I was driving in only 2 wd and didn't have to use the 4X4. there is 2 small groups of houses in different areas and a few others spread across the lake.

Not too many houses left on this lake. Was out this past weekend. Tried fishing the north shoreline in 15fow off one of the steeper drops, didn't mark one fish. Moved to the center 24' hole, didn't mark one fish. Finally moved to 8 fow and caught some average size blue gills. Was able to sight fish though which is always fun. Saw a 3 or 4 pound northern swim right underneath my hole. Could have darn near grabbed him.

everyone must have pulled the perms off during/before this last warm-up. I have yet to fish constance this winter.

Were you fishing out of the smaller mankato style house?

I too was out Saturday and Sunday. Fishing was MUCH slower for me on Sunday.
