Recommended Posts

I have a older eskimo auger that wont start. Anyone know of anyone in Minneapolis that has a quick turn around and reasonably priced.

Thanks

Nigel

Not sure what your repair skills are like but short of a new spark plug and fresh gas there is not a whole lot else to repair unless it is major.

In that case you might as well sell yours and get a new one. The new propane ones look really cool.

I second that, I am having issues with my NEW eskimo 9in. It bogs down half way thru the ice. It just wants to kill.

Johnson Hardware in Bloomington repairs StrikeMasters - not sure if they repair other brands but its worth a call. I brought mine in on Dec. 30 at 7pm (they close at 8pm) and it was fixed and ready to be picked up at 10am the next morning. Excellent service and I highly recommend them.

I recieved a older strikemaster from a relative this winter. I took it to strikemaster and they repaired it right on the spot. It took a little over 15 minutes and cost me 25 dollars, they also sharpened up the blades for me as well. With costumer service and reliablilty like this I will never buy anything, but a strikemaster in the future!!

I took my Strikemaster to Robbinsdale Marine. I had it to them on a Wednesday afternoon and they got it back to me by Friday morning. They even had to order the part. Great service, quick turn, and reasonably priced. Beat driving to Big Lake for sure.
