ACCESS ALERT!!!!! OT

pelican Bay access on ottertail lake is impassable with a truck right now there is a large amount of snow piled up there onto of slushy ice. Also the lake has many spots of slush on it. We need some very cold temps to cure the lake some to get all those houses off.

Just wanna give everyone a heads up, Kens Tackle is trying to keep the access opened and trying to keep roads plowed on the lake so we can get around. However when I talked to Gary he said that will only continue as long as people donate to the plow fund. He has a jar on the counter in his shop. He suggested some $20 donations would be very helpful. However give to it what you can. It does not make sense to spend the money we spend on equipment, gas etc and not be able to get around the lake. What good is our ice houses, vexilars etc if we cant get on the lake to use them. Please donate what ever you can. I am gonna be sure to throw a $20 in the jar this weekend. He said the donations have not been coming in and I hear where he is coming from when he says he cant afford to do it alone. So lets all give him a hand and put some $$ in the jar. Lets face it he is the only one whose really commited to us fishermen in the area. Lets all work together and keep the lake accessible.
