Any news on ice conditions on any of these lakes since the rain and subsequent freeze?

I was on Prior yesterday and had about 13-14" of ice. 8" looked to be good black ice, and the remainder was cloudy, but very solid. Trucks looked to be driving pretty much everywhere.

Carls has about 15" with about 2" of it being white, the rest pretty clear. Absolutely no snow left on it. I wouldn't recommend it, but there were a couple 1 ton duellies driving out there yesterday. My little Colorado did just fine.

Cory, I work with Schonning. Don't know the conditions on Prior myself, but this site is one of the absolute best sources of fishing info anywhere. Congrats on your new wheel house, I saw the pics and it looks like you got a really good deal. I'm the guy that will be fishing the weekend of Jan 22 on Mille Lacs with you guys with my wheel house. I may join you guys next weekend on Prior if you are still there and people can get on. Good luck, and I look forward to meeting you.

I was out on Marion last night. There is quite a people driving on the ice. It appears the rain has done wonders to the snow on the ice. I'm still waiting before I attempt to drive out.

I was on Prior last night again. There was about 15-16" of ice on the north side where I was at. Very slow fishing.

I'm on prior right now by reed island and there is 16+ inches of ice
