Lakemaster chip & car GPS compatability?

Finlander

Question

I have a Lakemaster chip that I have used in my now broken XOG.

Is there any car GPS that would accept this chip? confused

There are a few out there. One that i can think of is the Garmin Nuvi 500 & 550 if I remember right.

Not easily, as the XOG was a Lowrance product and the chip will only work in Lowrance products (not in any Garmin handhelds/nuvi's). The Lowrance Endura Handhelds may accept it, but I am unsure of the Nav side of them, and haven't heard much on the positive side of them as a successor to the wildly popular H2Oc. The Lowrance Sierra handheld can do turn by turn nav, but I think it needs an upgrade to do so, and I don't know if it's free or not.
