Looking for some advice on fishing lake ida looking at trying it for the first time looking for a good access on and off the lake and if there any plowed roads looking for walleyes and some crappie we are looking to spend the weekend on the ice wife looking to catch some fish

I would try Betsy Ross Bay. I have heard that they are bitting in the afternoon and evening.

Yep, that's going to be your best bet for access. I also know that there are some houses straight out from the public access N. of Pilgrim's Point but not sure of the catching.

Hey everyone, from the cities and looking for some better fishing than down here. Hows the bite up at Ida? Heard it is a real good lake. Also, I have a 3/4 ton pick up, any chance I could drive out there yet? Thanks alot for the help fellas!!

I am sure you can get out on the Ida, if there is plowed roads. I have not been out since the storm.

We were up over New Years. about 12" of ice where we had the house. After the rain however there were areas with 12" of slush on top of the ice that froze. Made getting the house off a real chore. Now I know why I don't ice fish all that much.

As stated, your probably going to be limited to a plowed road with truck.

      Agreed.  If Darnold could unload a lot faster off the snap he would be unstoppable.  I could see how frustrated Jefferson was.

      I think they could get the Lions.  Not as confident with the Chefs.  I’d love to see it though.   Darnold did well for sure!  But he was off a bit and the receivers made some great catches.  Then a few plays that were close to turnovers.  It was a good thing GB took too long to find their game.   Im not hatin’, just sayin’.

      Just like the Twins in 87 and 91.  One game at a time.  I think with KOC they have a good shot. Besides it's a rebuild year according to the experts at the beginning of the year.

      It’s for really big fires, wonderful fires, great fires, the best fires…. lol!   Really, I could but didn’t wanna right now and didn’t wanna move it twice.  I’ve got more than enough split and will have more to come every year.  This friend that DID eventually take it last night heats with wood and sometimes helps me cut up the trees.  Takes it all, including box elder.  Wood stove don’t care, he says.  Works for me.
