PKretsch20, could you let us know how it goes out there when you get your house off? I'm thinking about heading that way on Wednesday with a portable the 4 wheeler, but want to know how bad it is out there.

Good thing I went this morning, got the house off barely.. There is no path out there, it blew in today. Lucky for me there was guys that just got off the lake when i got there so i followed their trail.

I would not try to get around on a 4-wheeler anymore. One, the snow is pretty deep. Two, you get in a slushy spot and you might not get out. Snowmobile would be ideal..

Chains on the pickup tires made a world of difference!

There is only about 11-15 inches of ice out there.

Guys with houses still out there- good luck!
