It can get windy after the lakes have locked up.

Hope we don't get alot of this before it freezes, lakes will be cloudy this year if we do.

I hadn't even thought about it, doh! The lakes will probably be filthy. Looks like I'll be concentrating more on hunting than spearing in December. It's gonna make for a short season.

IMO, most lakes are a ways from freezing up. Water temps on lakes I fish are quite a bit "warmer" yet than average years. Hopefully they'll settle out before ice up and things calm down when ice goes on.

But, I don't like this wind either. I've got a boat lift canopy that I've been thinking about all day. Should be okay, but I won't be surprised if it looks different when I see it next w/e. Good thing it's got a boat on it, or I would really be worried.

i agree with you, i think were a month away from ice, and i hope the wind stays down, or its going to be really late before that lakes clear up
