If you have larger skull you think of having it scored? DO NOT BOIL the skull, it well shrink, you also run into the skull maybe cracking, if not handled properly.

Bear skulls are very tough to do because of the grease. If you over boil it it will fall apart. Save up money and get it done. Don't know if I would use beetles but thats just me.

Beatles, or you can soak it in a 6gallon pile with water. It will take longer than beatles, but you don't lose any of the small membranes in the nose.

I had one done by the way of beetles and it turned out very nice.

Correct on the boiling.

I have two deer skulls that are hooked together and I am having them done another way by a shop.
